How we became the only Canadian owned coast-to-coast specialty insulation supplier?
PolR is the only Canadian-owned, coast-to-coast insulation organization, with a presence in every province, making us the only national distributor with this level of reach. We are an owner-operator-led company, with 13 branches across Canada, designed to respond quickly to market needs.
At PolR, we bring together over a century of combined expertise by uniting four industry-leading companies: Nadeau Insulation, Nu-West Construction Products, Impro Insulation, and Scotia Insulations.

Our Story
Our journey began with each company establishing itself as a leader in their geographical market in the insulation and construction industry.
- Nadeau Insulation, known for its commercial insulation services in Quebec, was created in 1962.
- Impro Insulation, which specialized in the transformation and manufacturing of specialized insulation, became part of the PolR family in 1992.
- Scotia Insulations was founded in 1974 and became part of POLR in 2004, enhancing our capabilities with their specialized expertise.
- Nu-West Construction Products joined in 2017, bringing their extensive product range and project support across Western Canada.
By merging the best of Nadeau Insulation, Nu-West Construction Products, Impro Insulation, and Scotia Insulation, PolR Insulations is proud to offer a new level of service and expertise.
